The recently completed HEADS Office in Aschheim-Dornach near Munich has been awarded the iF Design Award 2025 in the "Interior Architecture" category, recognising its outstanding design quality and innovation. The award, presented by iF International Forum Design GmbH, is one of the most respected global design accolades, celebrating excellence in design for over 70 years.
Developed by Rock Capital Group, the HEADS Office stood out among nearly 11,000 submissions from 66 countries. The international jury of 131 design professionals praised the project's holistic approach to workplace well-being. As Germany's first so-called "Immune Office", it features optimised air quality, biorhythmic lighting, and over 1,200 indoor plants across its green atriums. These elements place human health and comfort at the centre of the office experience.
The interior design, realised by Ippolito Fleitz Group – Identity Architects, impressed with its use of high-quality natural materials. Special recognition was also given to the on-site restaurant, Hungry HEADS, which offers 300 seats and was designed by Svenja Hansen – Bargtied Design, combining visual appeal with functionality.
This is the fourth major award for the HEADS Office, which has previously won the Real Estate & Architecture Awards 2024 (Interior Design category) and the German Design Award 2025 in "Excellent Architecture – Conceptual Architecture". It has also been nominated for the Best Workspaces 2025 award.
