ECOcero, a company specialising in developing and manufacturing sustainable acoustic solutions, showcased a sensory-stimulating combination of art, design, and cutting-edge innovation at Orgatec in Cologne from October 22 to 25, 2024. This presentation, crafted by renowned designers such as The Room Studio, Noé Prades, Alejandra Pombo, and Erico Navazo, set new standards in combining sustainable design with acoustic solutions.
"We weren't just present at Orgatec; we created an experience," said Jorge Bellido, CEO of ECOcero. "Our stand broke conventions, transporting visitors to unique spaces that fused innovation, elegance, and nature. Every detail showcased our designers' vision of pushing the boundaries of interior design, offering solutions that are visually and acoustically impactful."
The stand was divided into six thematic areas: a cenote, an office, a hotel reception area, a relaxation zone, an outdoor space, and the Beatbar installation by Alejandra Pombo, which won second place for Best Project at the Madrid Inside Art and Design (MIAD) Festival.
ECOcero demonstrated the versatility of its acoustic solutions, including multifunctional acoustic panels like ECOwall Volume and Quadrilateral, as well as acoustic-enhancing light fixtures like Breeze and Colibrí by Noé Prades, and artistic pieces like Mirage by The Room Studio, establishing a new dialogue between sound absorption, design, and art.
In the "cenote" area—drawing inspiration from Mexico's deep water wells—backlit shades created an atmospheric ambiance, while the office area featured the art installation Mirage by The Room Studio, along with Quadrilateral and ECOwall Volume acoustic panels.
In the hotel reception area, ECOcero presented new light fixtures, Breeze and Colibrí by Noé Prades, along with the Lumomesh light fixture by The Room Studio. The relaxation zone showcased the ECOnordik model in electric blue, complete with a matching base.
The Strata model by Erico Navazo was displayed in the outdoor area, while Alejandra Pombo's Beatbar featured the Groovy collection on both the wall and counter. Visitors experienced ECOcero's acoustic panels' effectiveness, ensuring optimal sound absorption and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Made from recycled PET plastic, the panels provided aesthetic versatility, integrating seamlessly with the overall design and adding sophistication and harmony.
For the stand design, ECOcero collaborated with award-winning companies such as Sancal and Kriskadecor (both winners of the 2024 Spanish National Design Awards) and with Vibia, ACTIU, Greenarea, esTABLEes, IBCONNECT, Marmarela, and Aromatizante. The stand proudly displayed the "Made in Spain" logo.
