The Cotswold Company is enhancing its delivery and after-care services with the launch of its first Cotswold Home Delivery (CHD) Training Academy and a new delivery depot in Swindon.
The CHD Training Academy, located in Lichfield, Staffordshire, offers comprehensive training for staff, featuring three interchangeable room sets—a bedroom, living room, and kitchen—and a full-size stairway to simulate real-life delivery scenarios. This setup allows delivery teams to practice navigating tight spaces, staircases, and different floor types, ensuring they can handle any delivery situation with confidence.

In addition to the training academy, The Cotswold Company is opening a second UK depot in Swindon later this month. This new facility will employ 21 people and add ten new vans to the fleet, ready for the busy Christmas season.
Ralph Tucker, CEO of The Cotswold Company, states in an article in Retail Technology Innovation Hub, 'We understand that ordering new furniture can be stressful for customers. Our investments in the CHD Training Academy and the new depot are designed to ensure that our delivery teams can manage all scenarios, delivering purchases carefully and efficiently. This expansion supports our growth and strengthens our position as one of the UK's leading premium homeware brands.'
