A well-known US flooring company has announced the closure of 94 stores across 30 states, including four in New York. These closures come as the Richmond, Virginia-based company faces significant financial challenges, with nearly $110 million in long-term debt.

LL Flooring has begun reorganization proceedings in Delaware's U.S. Bankruptcy Court in response to this financial strain.
It has announced its Yonkers location at 132 Saw Mill River Road will remain open, along with stores in Wappingers Falls, Middletown, and the Bronx.
The New York stores set to close are in Medford, New Hartford, Staten Island, and Westbury.
