The Torre Arcobaleno in Milan's Garibaldi area has a new night lighting system. This project, curated in partnership with a group of Italian companies, serves as a tribute to the city and its people. The tower has become one of the symbols of modern Milan due to its location, history, architectural and design significance, and its 1,000 square meters of 'vertical ceramic mosaic.'
The new system utilises powerful LED floodlights, giving the 35-metre Torre Arcobaleno a special charm and a fairy-tale effect. This lighting highlights the many shades of colour that make the tower recognisable and beloved by Milanese residents and a cult object for creative people and design enthusiasts worldwide.
The 397 W LED floodlights provide more precise illumination of the tower's silhouette, enhancing colour rendering while maintaining low power consumption. The new floodlights have a lifespan of approximately 100,000 hours.
Leading the project is the architecture division of the Original Designers Studio 6R5 Network, comprising Francesco Roggero, Albino Pozzi, Rita Alfano Roggero, and Kiyoto Ishimoto. The team collaborated with other notable Italian names to maintain and enhance the beauty of the Torre Arcobaleno, even at night.

The project is also supported by the Comune di Milano (Milan City Council) and RFI (the leading company of the Infrastructure Cluster of the Italian FS Group - Gruppo Ferrovie dello Stato), continuing the tradition established at the beginning of the tower's recovery project.
