La Redoute, a prominent player in French e-commerce, is undergoing a leadership transition as Philippe Berlan steps down from his CEO role by the end of July 2024. Berlan, who has been at the helm since March 2022, leaves to pursue new professional opportunities after a transformative tenure marked by strategic shifts and growth initiatives.

Under Berlan's leadership, La Redoute pivoted towards a strategic focus on home goods in November 2023, aiming to consolidate its position in the lifestyle and home market.
The company continues in its aspirations to become a European leader in home and decoration. This segment currently constitutes over 60% of La Redoute's sales, reflecting a strategic move away from its traditional fashion focus towards curated, timeless collections and an increased emphasis on products made in Europe.
Despite facing a slight downturn post-Covid, La Redoute maintains a robust market presence with 8.8 million active customers globally, supported by 9 stores and 50 corners.
