A collection honouring influential women from history

Christian Louboutin moves from shoes to chairs

The famous footwear brand Christian Louboutin and French interior designer Pierre Yovanovitch have joined forces to pay homage to influential women from history and popular culture through a collection of chairs created in collaboration with French artisans. The collection is currently on display at Yovanovitch's gallery in New York City, until 24 May.

Louboutin and Yovanovitch are long-time friends. Both men share a high-fashion sensibility, and their collaboration draws inspiration from muses spanning mythology, history, and cinema.

The collection features 13 elegant chairs, each paying tribute to iconic women. Each piece reflects the distinct personality and influence of its namesake, from Nefertari to Dita von Teese.

The collaboration showcases the seamless fusion of French savoir-faire, feminine beauty, and visionary design. Each chair is a testament to the craftsmanship, artistry, and timeless allure of women.
