Italian furniture company Kartell has teamed up with Mattel to introduce a collection of miniature versions of its iconic chairs, adding a touch of sophistication to Barbie's dreamhouse. The collaboration brings five of Kartell's most recognisable chairs to life in neon pink, perfectly sized for Barbie's world.
From the Louis Ghost chair to the sleek A.I. chair and the whimsical Masters chair, each piece has been meticulously crafted to replicate the details of its full-size counterpart. Even the egg-shaped Ero|S| swivel armchair has been recreated, providing Barbie with the ultimate lounging experience.
This isn't the first collaboration between Mattel and Kartell. Over the past two decades, the companies have joined forces on various projects, including a giant Barbie dreamhouse and a furniture-inspired UNO card game. However, this latest venture is particularly aimed at design enthusiasts and collectors, offering them the opportunity to own miniature versions of iconic chairs.
The collection will be available online for $60 starting April 16, allowing Barbie fans to add a touch of sophistication to their dollhouses. For those looking for an extra dose of luxury, Kartell is also offering limited-edition full-size versions of the pink Louis Ghost and Masters chairs, providing a stylish addition to any modern interior.
