Design Holding’s iconic brands now at Madison Avenue in New York City

The new Flagship Store highlighting Design Holding's iconic brands opened on 135 Madison Avenue. A shared vision of European heritage, world-class design, craftsmanship and innovation in a unique destination in New York City, spanning over 25,000 square feet on two floors. The impressive project invites customers, architects, designers, and real estate developers, to share their passion in an immersive journey with B&B Italia, Maxalto, Azucena, Arclinea, Flos, Louis Poulsen. The space pays homage to the collections, the DNA of the brands, and to their origins, with a setup divided into distinct sections of the store, demonstrating how they can coexist harmoniously while enhancing one another through their diversity.

Explore the first floor
On the first floor will be an impressive display of high-end living from B&B Italia featuring the Camaleonda sofa by Mario Bellini, the Tufty-Time seating system by Patricia Urquiola and the Alex table by Antonio Citterio, to name a few. As Artistic Director for B&B Italia, Piero Lissoni worked carefully to marry architectural elements with product displays for a harmonious result. Accessible through a separate entrance will be the Maxalto space, the timeless lifestyle interiors collection designed and coordinated by Maxalto's Creative Director Antonio Citterio.

Designed with intention
The brand-new second floor dedicated to Flos, Louis Poulsen and Arclinea, together with a new Maxalto space on the ground floor complementing the updated B&B Italia realm, harmoniously coexist culminating in the creation of an unparalleled venue, thus marking the birth of a distinctive landmark. The second floor is designed by Lissoni Architecture New York. It is an avant-garde space defined by pure geometric volumes and elements. Honest and industrial materials follow a muted, neutral palette allowing the personality of product designs to be the protagonists. A free flow experience guided the design, led by the curiosity and specific needs of customers as they discover the space based on their preference and design needs.
