Paseo Mallorca 15: a new landmark for Palma. Located directly on Paseo Mallorca, the apartment building of the same name seamlessly blends with the distinctive Mediterranean architecture of the region. This is due to the incorporation of local, natural materials.
The standout feature of the luxury housing complex is its main facade, envisioned by the architectural studio OHLAB to balance lightness with Mallorca's hot climate. Instead of glass, they opted for a permeable "skin" of certified pine slats to filter the sun.
The apartment design emphasises natural, local materials, capturing Palma's Mediterranean vibe. Wood panelling, lime mortar, and local stone, along with aged bronze accents, create a harmonious blend of textures and colours. Inside, the apartments feature light sandy tones, open spaces, and minimalist interiors.
Fittings from Dornbracht can be found in kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms. Their Brushed Durabrass (23kt Gold) finish adds a crucial touch to the overall look. In the kitchen, TARA stands out on the unit, while the TARA and META ranges in the bathrooms match well with stone washbasins and brass mirrors. They're complemented by shower applications and bathtub fittings that match.
'The special design of the fittings contributes to the airy feeling exuded by the bathrooms. They blend seamlessly into these tactile environments, complementing the selection of high-quality materials that are pleasant to touch and that we have chosen for Paseo Mallorca 15. They also attribute the bathrooms a touch of elegance in keeping with the high design standards of this project,' explains architect duo Paloma Hernaiz and Jaime Oliver (both OHLAB).
