Duka has always positioned itself as a company committed to maintaining high standards in a variety of areas, placing a strong emphasis on continuous development, both in terms of products and personnel skills, in order to remain at the forefront of the shower enclosure industry.
Entirely developed around the 4.0 philosophy, in which advanced software, machinery and people work together, Duka concentrates its entire production at its headquarters in Bressanone, one of the largest constructions ever built in South Tyrol, to ensure more efficient processes and direct control over product quality.
Here, from the engineering of the electrical installations, heating and ventilation of the headquarter, to the production of the shower enclosures, the maximum attention is paid to optimizing the consumption of energy and raw materials, using only environmentally friendly materials.
The responsible and conscientious use of energy and raw materials at all levels of activity is in fact a real priority: the production areas and offices have an important cooling system that uses the thermal energy of water from the Eisack River to provide cost-efficient and environmentally friendly air conditioning. In addition, thanks to the installation of a major photovoltaic system on the roof of the headquarter, which was recently expanded, Duka produces and consumes much of the energy it needs. With this in mind, each shower enclosure is made to order, so that raw material requirements can be calculated and waste can be further minimised. Duka has also just introduced a new, more resistant and 100% recyclable product packaging. Worthy of mention is the EPD - Environmental Product Declaration - certification awarded to several models of the wide range of shower enclosures, further proof of the company's commitment to environmental preservation.
