René Benko’s Signa inventory auctioned in Vienna

The auctions of René Benko’s Signa inventory in Vienna are ongoing until February 2nd, and the first two auctions have recently concluded.

The interiors of the Signa headquarters in Vienna’s Palais Harrach, known as the “Signa Salon”, are up for auction. The initial round of auctions at the Vienna auction house Aurena has seen the first pieces from René Benko’s office space find new owners. Following the insolvency of Signa Holding at the end of November, efforts are being made to monetise whatever is feasible, beginning with the sale of Signa Holding’s equipment.

This inventory encompasses more than just designer office furniture, including chairs and tables; it also includes carpets, umbrella stands, lamps, clothes hangers, and distinctive items such as a gun cabinet.

A total of 1,600 items will be auctioned until February 2nd, divided into seven separate auctions. According to the renovation manager's report, the estimated value of the entire inventory exceeds 600,000 euros.
