The Finadorm Group shares CSR Report and ambitious 2030 goals

The French Finadorm Group has released its first CSR report, outlining the achievements of its "Fin'Impact" CSR project launched in February 2023. This comprehensive report not only details the environmental and social responsibilities undertaken by the group but also quantifies its objectives and outlines a strategic plan supported throughout its ecosystem.

The Finadorm Group, comprising 11 subsidiaries engaged in bedding manufacturing, bedding distribution, leisure housing, and early childhood sectors, has unveiled its aspirations for 2030. With a total of 1,200 employees and 11 production locations, the group achieved a commendable turnover of 250 million in 2022 within its 200 sales points.

The primary objective of the report is to support customers and local authorities in their efforts to establish a carbon-neutral economy and promote biodiversity. Notably, the group's commitment to environmental sustainability is evident, with nearly all its companies having undergone the ISO 14001 certification process.

A key revelation from the report is the carbon assessment, which indicates a 65,473-ton CO2e carbon footprint in 2022, with material purchases accounting for 63,000 tons of CO2 annually.

Fin'Impact Program
The "Fin'Impact" program, conceived to address evolving national, European, and international regulations, is a proactive response to environmental and social challenges. Implemented in phases, the program involved three experiments aligned with the group's objectives, conducted over six months by 45 representatives from the group's various businesses and territories.

The Finadorm Group has laid out six commitments, each with well-defined CSR objectives, reinforcing its dedication to sustainability:

1. Reducing greenhouse gas emissions in production: Aiming to increase the share of renewable energy in production site consumption by 40% by 2030.

2. Logistics and power management: Targeting 40% utilisation of hybrid, electric, or biofuel technology in the fleet by 2030, thereby reducing associated costs.

3. Circularity and ecodesign integration: Aiming to reduce waste production by 5% and use 15% recycled material in all production by 2030.

4. Supplier emissions reduction: Aiming for a 10% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from suppliers by 2024.

5. Employee empowerment: Targeting 15% of employees to undergo internal training through "Fin’Académie" by 2030, enhancing skills, environmental awareness, and coexistence.

6. Boosting well-being and attractiveness: Aiming for 100% employee satisfaction by 2030 to enhance the overall well-being within the company.
