The industrial export share of the German furniture industry stands at around 34 percent up to and including October 2023, marking a 0.3 percent rise compared to the previous year.

Among the furniture industry, the German kitchen furniture sector boasts the highest export share, currently at around 45 percent (up 0.1% from the previous year). Export activities will once again become a vital tool for generating growth. Even before the pandemic, particularly in the pre-pandemic years, export business served as the growth engine for the German furniture industry.
