The Platform Group has finalised the acquisition of Möbelfirst, a premier luxury furniture platform in German-speaking regions, obtaining the remaining 100 percent stake in the company.

Having held a majority stake since 2021, The Platform Group has actively expanded Möbelfirst's strategies, leveraging TPG's software solutions. Presently, over 500 furniture trade partners are integrated into the platform, headquartered in Bonn.
The company revealed that the acquisition of the remaining 49.9 percent of Möbelfirst was finalised in December 2023, with the transaction closure set for March 1, 2024, marking The Platform Group's complete ownership. The purchase price remains undisclosed by mutual agreement.
Looking ahead, The Platform Group intends to maintain its acquisition momentum, targeting three to eight additional companies in both B2B and B2C sectors in the upcoming year.
