For decades, Domotex has been the meeting point for the global flooring industry and a successful formula that brings the worlds of carpets and floor coverings together in one place. With over 1,000 participating companies and special displays, Domotex offers a comprehensive market overview of all innovations and expertise in the flooring industry in January.
Floored by Nature
In a time where sustainability, innovation, and individuality are paramount, the trade fair theme "Floored by Nature" serves as an encouragement to connect with nature, promote the use of natural materials, and stimulate out-of-the-box thinking. Sustainability is not just a trend, but is increasingly seen as an essential factor in choosing a floor covering. Trends are also influenced by a greater emphasis on comfort and well-being. There is a shift towards carpets and rugs made of high-quality materials, with health and acoustics becoming increasingly important considerations.
With The Green Collection in Hall 23, the main theme "Floored by Nature" comes to life: with presentations and innovative products from renowned architects and (interior) designers. A special highlight during the 2024 edition is Insight Italy, as for the first time Domotex will present a specific focus on a country. This provides an insight into the trends, designs, and innovations of the Italian carpet and flooring industry.
The four-day trade fair program includes a wide range of presentations by renowned architects, forums and live-action zones, and takes place from January 11th - 14th, 2024.
