While cuddling to sleep with your partner has a lot of benefits, Vogue recently suggested using the Scandinavian sleep method, dividing the bed into separate sleeping zones using individual comforters.

The Scandinavian approach, in contrast to Southern European and American habits, suggests to split the bed into two distinct halves: each individual uses their own single comforter and blankets. This allows both partners to tailor their sleeping environment according to their temperature preferences (whether they run hot or cold) and move freely during the night without disturbing each other.
Fabric choices are tailored to preferences—cotton or flannel for cooler sleepers, and linen for those who tend to be warmer. Various comforter options, from hypoallergenic to lightweight or plush, cater to specific needs. Making the bed involves laying out two single comforters side by side, covered with a quilt or additional bedding for a unified appearance.
