Each year Maison&Object selects a Designer of the Year, celebrating the work of recognized talents in the global design and decoration scene. The January 2024 edition will shine a light on Mathieu Lehanneur's work.The French designer is known throughout the world for his talent in bringing together technology, art, and design.
Lehanneur's approach is radically multidisciplinary, ranging from objects to architecture, from artworks to products, and from hand-crafted pieces to cutting-edge technological works. His designs are inspired by nature, science, history, and technology. An avid proponent of experimentation and new creative territories, he collaborates with leading artisans as well as being involved in several start-ups in the fields of technology and urban mobility.
In January, he will bring an exclusive project to the fair: Outonomy, an ambitious, disruptive and poetic space that aims to rethink our cohabitation with the living in an optimistic way. The ambition? To think about new ways of living amidst nature, while combining aesthetics and comfort.
The next edition of the fair is January 18-22, 2024.
