British flooring company Amtico has broadened its bio-attributed LVT flooring range. Amtico has extended its bio-attributed LVT flooring range, which is now applicable to all UK-manufactured collections, including Signature, Spacia, Form and Marine products.
Amtico Bio maintains the same chemical and physical composition as Amtico's regular LVT products, offering the same quality and designs while minimizing its environmental impact. 'Reducing our impact on the climate starts with the products we make', the brand mentions on their website.
Bio-attributed LVT is made with sustainable PVC from biomass, a renewable raw material which saves more than 90% of carbon emissions compared to the manufacture of standard PVC.
'When specified with one of our core LVT collections, we simply source the required amount of bio-attributed PVC to make the order. Working with the mass balance principle, just like the sale of green energy, we are setting the stage for a transition away from fossil fuel dependency.'
