HKliving reveals new brand identity

HKliving just announced its new HK signature. "At its core, we create interior collections with products inspired by and paying homage to the 'good old days', but always with a modern feel. It felt time to align the brand identity with our vision and collections."



Ode to the past
"Our new logo is not just a change in graphic design," explains Emiel Hetsen, Creative Director. "It is a reflection of our commitment to combining the design ethos of the past with the modern technology of the present. So, while the written logo has a retro feel to it, our brandmark logo sets a more modern expectation. A combination we feel very comfortable with."

Dark brown, orange, sand, khaki and off-white are the basic colours of the new branding and will be found in several expressions. "We're not just looking back at the past, we're reinterpreting it," adds Emiel Hetsen. "Our aim is to inspire a new generation to embrace the boldness and creativity of previous designs, with a touch of modern sophistication."

New features
In order to present the new style in the most powerful and appealing way, it has been incorporated into the website. The usability of the previous site has been retained, but now in a more inspiring environment.
