New 100% indoor furniture products from French Fermob

For Salone del Mobile, the leading international design exhibition taking place this year from 16 to 21 April in Milan, Fermob proposes an avant-première showcase of two new furniture products. With a subtle combination of materials, the STUDIE oak lounge armchair and the matt velvet-finish CALVI table made from metal and Fenix extend the brand's offering for the indoor market, for both home and professional use.

Fermob merges design with innovation, bringing a new elan to interior decoration
As a decorator of all spaces, Fermob ignores the boundaries between in and outdoors, using lifestyle as a guide to better living. In an effort to create harmony between interior and exterior spaces, the brand has naturally expanded its horizons indoors. When it comes to mixing materials, Fermob is a master of the craft, offering unique approaches to combining metal, wood and textiles.

This flexibility illustrates its capacity to adapt to any setting, be it a garden, home, hotel or office. Last year, Fermob introduced two new materials: wood and leather. Today, the brand ventures further into the interior decorating market with a reminder of its emblematic products and a new finish: Fenix. Audacious colour combinations have always been a signature for Fermob, and this association of different materials demonstrates technical expertise and unique design skills.

Calvi table designed by Antoine Lesur
Simple, light and robust, the CALVI range is known for its distinctive signature design with broken corners, conferring an airy, elegant style. This year, Fermob and Antoine Lesur propose a new alternative, with a robust, sophisticated Fenix table top, emphasising the elegance of the collection and adding a touch of glamour to all indoor areas.

Fenix, an innovative material developed by Arpa Industriale, is a revolution for the design industry. Mostly made up of layers of paper impregnated with thermoset resins, this material offers resistance to scratches, antibacterial properties, durability and easy cleaning. Its silky feel and matt finish confer a sophisticated, contemporary style, making it the perfect choice for tables, kitchen counters, office desks and a multitude of other indoor uses.

The new matt velvet-finish table thus symbolises the subtle association of materials. The sturdiness of aluminium combined with the elegance of Fenix creates a perfect balance between solidity and contemporary aesthetics.

The three table formats available (195x95 cm/159x80 cm/126x63 cm) ensure suitability for areas of all sizes.

Studie oak chair designed by Tristan Lohner
By revamping the ergonomics and modernity of this ultra simple classroom chair, Fermob and Tristan Lohner created STUDIE, winner of a Red Dot Design Award in 2022. The range was extended last year with an indoor version in oak and aluminium. Oak is universally acknowledged as a noble material: it is natural, recyclable and soothing, helping to create a warm atmosphere in all indoor spaces.

2024 brings another new addition to the collection with this generous, more comfortable wood version, whose shaped seat and backrest are designed to embrace the body's natural shape. STUDIE oak lounge armchair, with its rounded lines and timeless design has all the signature features of the range: sturdiness, simple lines, playful details... Available in all the shades of the Fermob colour chart, its laughing eyes make it easy to associate with any of the brand's low or occasional tables, fitting with all decorative styles.

Stacking, silent by virtue of its pads, light and easy to transport thanks to its aluminium structure, the new STUDIE oak lounge armchair is perfect for both professional settings (meeting rooms, private offices, waiting rooms, etc.) and use at home.
