Egger Group bids farewell to Ulrich Bühler

Following 24 years of extraordinary commitment, Ulrich Bühler, Chief Sales Officer for the Egger Group, has retired from the Egger Group. The Egger Group formally announced his retirement and has saluted him for his service to the company over the past two decades.

Ulrich Bühler played a key role in shaping the fortunes of the company. In this role, he spent 16 years in charge of Egger Group's global activities in sales, marketing, product management and communication. His retirement at the end of this month marks the start of a new chapter for him.

'We are a family company and are now bidding farewell to a very important member of our corporate family as he starts his well-deserved retirement. On behalf of the Egger family and the entire staff, I would like to thank Uli Bühler most sincerely for his strategic vision, his assertiveness, his loyalty and his lasting achievements for our company. For me personally, he was always a role model and mentor, and I was always able to rely on his support. We wish Uli Bühler and his family all the very best,' concludes Michael Egger Jr., who has succeeded Ulrich Bühler in the role of Chief Sales Officer for the Egger Group.

A career full of milestones
Ulrich Bühler began his successful career at Egger in 2000 as Sales Manager at the Brilon (DE) plant. He was then responsible for the sales and marketing agendas in the Country Management, Germany. In 2006, he was finally appointed to Group Management and held this role full of responsibility until 2022. For 16 years, he steered the fortunes of the Egger Group and was responsible for sales and marketing in the Group Management. During this time, the Egger Group attained strong growth and further internationalisation.

Ulrich Bühler successfully led his areas of responsibility on the path to digitalisation and built up an extensive international sales network. Within the company, but also far beyond, he is held in high esteem for his vision, his commitment and his constant striving for win-win solutions for all partners. He has been entrusted with strategic projects since 2022 and acted as a mentor and advisor to his successor Michael Egger Jr.

His new chapter begins at the end of April, when he will start his well-deserved retirement. The entire Egger Group wishes him all the best
