Danish furniture retailer JYSK has strengthened its footprint in Ireland with the opening of a new store in South Dublin, marking another step in its continued expansion across the region.
The latest branch, located on Sallynoggin Road Lower, officially opened on 9 April 2026. It occupies the former premises of M Kelly Interiors, a long-standing local interiors business that operated from the site for four decades before transitioning to an online-only model.

JYSK acquired the property in October and carried out a refurbishment programme ahead of the launch, aligning the space with its contemporary retail concept.
The South Dublin opening follows a series of recent Irish expansions, including a store in Cork and additional locations in Swords and Killarney. The retailer now operates 32 stores across Ireland, reflecting steady growth in both urban and regional markets.
The brand has also reported strong trading performance, with turnover in the UK and Ireland increasing by 12.6% year-on-year for the 2024/25 financial period. This growth underscores continued consumer demand for accessible, Scandinavian-inspired home furnishings across the market.
JYSK's latest store opening reinforces its wider strategy of expanding physical retail presence while modernising store formats, as it continues to build visibility within Ireland's competitive furniture and interiors sector.
