The Stressless® Colour Story for 2026 introduces a sensorial palette centred on texture, colour and light, aiming to elevate everyday living through craftsmanship, expressive design and emotional connection within the home. The collection explores how materials and tones can support spaces designed for rest and renewal.

A key focus of the new season is texture, positioned as a defining element in interior transformation. Stressless® introduces three new textured fabrics: Marigold, Lilly and Azalea. Marigold, a rich bouclé fabric, is designed to bring warmth and tactility to interiors through its tightly woven loop structure and layered visual depth. The fabric is available in neutral tones referencing Pantone's Colour of the Year, Cloud Dancer, as well as a light green inspired by contemporary runway influences.
"The handcrafted tactility of these fabrics compliments the sculptural shape of the furniture and adds to the cosiness and comfort of the piece," says Janne Muri, Colour, Material and Finish Project Manager.
Alongside texture, the collection explores a "Pop of Colour" approach, introducing bold hues inspired by fashion and nature. Emerald greens, cobalt blues and warm reds are designed to create expressive accents while remaining compatible with earthy and neutral interiors.

These colours are translated across multiple materials. Dinamica, a soft microfibre, is introduced in Cobalt Blue, paired with dark wood and off-white tones for a refined finish. The Lilly fabric, a plush chenille, arrives in Emerald Green, while the Paloma leather range is extended in Cherry, offering a confident red tone intended to bring cohesion to interior spaces.
A third theme, "Golden Hour", draws inspiration from the warm, diffused light of sunrise and sunset. The palette focuses on terracotta and warm brown shades, designed to create a calming yet uplifting atmosphere.

Within this theme, Velaro leather in Dark Caramel is highlighted as a key material, combining a soft tactile quality with warm tonal depth. Designed to pair with neutral palettes and natural materials, it reflects the collection's broader emphasis on timeless interior expression and restorative comfort.
Together, the Stressless® Colour Story 2026 frames interior design as a balance of texture, colour and light, shaping spaces centred on wellbeing and sensory experience.
