Premium German kitchen brand next125 has strengthened its UK footprint with the opening of its second concept store, located in Kirkby Lonsdale. Developed in partnership with long-standing retailer Butler Interiors, the new South Lakes showroom is designed to attract customers from surrounding regions including the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.

The concept store showcases next125's design philosophy through a series of curated displays, offering customers an immersive brand experience. Highlights include signature kitchen installations such as the "Fireplace" display and the nx510 model, aimed at presenting the brand in its most authentic form.
Unlike traditional franchise expansion, next125's strategy focuses on collaborating with established independent retailers. This approach allows partners like Butler Interiors to maintain their autonomy while benefiting from international brand support, including showroom design expertise and marketing backing.
The opening also marks a broader development for Butler Interiors, which plans to relocate its existing Schüller showroom on the same site. The dual-brand setup is expected to cater to both premium and more accessible segments, expanding customer reach while maintaining a consistent service standard.
With 14 concept stores now operating globally, next125 continues to prioritise selective, partnership-led growth. The UK expansion reflects a wider industry trend towards experiential retail environments, where customers can engage more directly with design-led products.
