The recall affects the Bluzen Infrared Sauna Blanket, which was sold in stores between October 2025 and March 2026. According to the UK's Office for Product Safety and Standards, the item poses a risk of burns due to potential overheating during use. In some cases, components of the blanket may melt, creating a hazard for consumers.
Authorities confirmed that the product fails to meet the requirements set out in the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016. As a result, parent company TJX UK has initiated a full recall from end users.
Customers who purchased the product are being advised to stop using it immediately and return it to any TK Maxx or Homesense store. A full refund or replacement is being offered.
The incident underscores the importance of product safety compliance within the furnishings and homeware market, particularly as retailers continue to expand their ассортимент of electrical and wellness-related goods.
