The talks, conducted under formal conciliation procedures since January 2026, were intended to stabilise the Maisons du Monde's financial position through measures including potential equity solutions. The group now faces immediate financial constraints, including ongoing cash flow consumption and urgent funding needs. A key concern is a €25 million loan repayment due on April 22, adding pressure to secure a solution in the short term.
