SKLD Studio expands outdoor design scope with new collections and outdoor kitchen at Salone del Mobile

Founded in 2024 as part of Spain's Voolcan Grupo, the brand continues to build a recognisable identity rooted in authored design. The latest collection, developed in collaboration with designers Valerio Sommella, Eli Gutiérrez, Kay Durán & Miguel López, and Adam Johnston, reflects what the company describes as "a collection that challenges conventional standards, with a colour palette conceived as a common thread."

This unified palette runs across all pieces, linking diverse typologies into "a single visual narrative" through artisanal weaving and carefully selected tones such as forest green, rust red and smoky greys. The designs are characterised by soft, rounded volumes intended to convey balance and visual harmony.

A key highlight is Arata by Valerio Sommella, marking the brand's first collaboration with an Italian designer. The collection combines aluminium structures with braided cord and cushions, creating what is described as "an elegant and fresh atmosphere" suited to both outdoor and indoor settings.

Ronda, designed by Kay Durán and Miguel López, introduces a complete range of seating and tables defined by a circular structural gesture and woven detailing, offering what is described as "an outdoor collection with an indoor soul." Meanwhile, Koro by Eli Gutiérrez is expanded with new pieces, continuing its exploration of soft forms and textured weaving inspired by traditional incense burners.

Expanding beyond seating, Aris by Adam Johnston marks SKLD Studio's first move into storage and kitchen systems. The modular aluminium-based collection is designed for outdoor kitchens and contract environments, featuring adaptable configurations and durable materials suitable for terraces, hospitality settings and residential use.

In addition to its presence at Salone del Mobile, SKLD Studio will participate in Fuorisalone through the Appartamento Spagnolo project curated by Elle Decor Italia, further strengthening its visibility within Milan's design landscape.

With its latest launch, SKLD Studio underscores its ambition to establish "a distinctive vision of authorial outdoor furniture," responding to growing demand for design-driven, emotionally engaging outdoor environments.
