The fair, held in two phases from 18–21 March and 28–31 March 2026, spanned 850,000 square metres across 90 halls and brought together more than 5,100 brands from 36 countries. "This growth in international attendance shows that CIFF Guangzhou is increasingly recognised as the global hub of the furniture industry," the organisers stated.
Under the theme CONNECT · CREATE, the exhibition focused on the convergence of design, manufacturing, and international trade. The participation of 1,582 new exhibitors, accounting for 31.8% of the total, highlighted CIFF's ability to attract both established brands and new market entrants.
The 2026 edition also emphasised emerging lifestyles and evolving consumer needs. New thematic zones, including Healthy Aging, Pet Home, Massage Chairs / Function Sofas, and New Retail, showcased key market directions. "The Healthy Elderly Living Themed Exhibition, featuring nearly 60 companies, presented integrated solutions combining senior-friendly furniture with smart care technologies," CIFF reported. The Pet Home & Supplies Themed Exhibition, with around 40 companies, highlighted the growing pet sector, from furniture and smart devices to accessories and services.

Through its three major exhibitions – Home Furniture (430,000 sqm), Office & Commercial Space (240,000 sqm), and CIFM/interzum guangzhou (170,000 sqm) – CIFF once again demonstrated a fully integrated ecosystem connecting design, manufacturing, and materials. Design remained central: 227 design brands (+9% YoY) participated, and 15 themed design exhibitions provided new perspectives on home living. "The CD Awards (CIFF Guangzhou Design Awards) received 675 entries (+7.7%), reflecting the vitality of design innovation," the organisers noted.
CIFF Guangzhou further reinforced its role as a global connector through platforms such as Interbiz Club, Design Community, and Elite Community, supported by digital innovations including AI assistants and interactive navigation systems.
The success of CIFF Guangzhou 2026 reflects a broader transformation of the furniture industry towards a design-driven, technologically enabled, and globally connected ecosystem.
The next edition of CIFF Guangzhou will take place on 18–21 March and 28–31 March 2027.
