More than 2,000 lots from a UK kitchen manufacturer are set to be sold via online auction after the manufacturer ceased trading in February 2026. The business, which was established in the 1940s, had grown into one of the country's largest kitchen suppliers, serving the public sector and housing associations nationwide.

The company, Moores Furniture Group, operated from a 35-acre site at Thorp Arch Estate near Wetherby, West Yorkshire, with facilities spanning approximately 550,000 sq ft. Asset advisory firm Walker Singleton has been appointed to manage the disposal of all company assets through a phased programme of six online auctions.
The lots will include a wide range of manufacturing equipment, storage and handling systems, site infrastructure and stock. According to Walker Singleton, the phased approach will enable a structured transition of the site, creating opportunities for redevelopment and refurbishment.
Abigail Whiteoak, asset specialist at Walker Singleton, said the scale of the site and asset base offers potential for buyers across multiple industries. The auctions are currently being prepared, with interested parties invited to register for participation as the sales process progresses.
