JYSK Iceland is expanding its logistics capacity with a new 10,100 sq m facility in Korputún, Mosfellsbær, set to open in August 2026.
The development will include a 7,500 sq m warehouse, doubling current storage capacity, alongside a 2,000 sq m retail space and 600 sq m of office facilities. The move comes as the company's existing distribution centre has been operating at 95% capacity, limiting further growth.

The new site marks JYSK's first presence in the emerging Korputún business district and is designed to support more efficient, data-driven operations. The company said the investment will enhance product availability and streamline logistics processes.
General manager Björn Ingi Vilhjálmsson described the expansion as a step towards "delivering the right product at the right time", aligning with JYSK's focus on operational efficiency and scalable growth.
Construction is progressing, with the warehouse structure completed and interior work underway, positioning the business for its next phase of expansion in the Icelandic market.
