Sonas Bathrooms has announced plans to open a 60,000 sq ft distribution centre in Redditch, West Midlands, scheduled for August 2026, marking a key step in its UK expansion.
The move follows three years of rapid growth in the UK, with the company reporting a compound annual growth rate of 125%. The new facility will act as the central hub for distribution, packaging and deliveries, supporting more than 500 retail partners with targeted 24-hour delivery times.

The site will feature advanced warehouse management systems, including voice-picking technology, enabling "99.9% accuracy" in order fulfilment. It will also replicate Sonas' Irish operational model, where customers benefit from next-day delivery and a 98% on-time-in-full rate.
Sustainability has been prioritised, with the building achieving BREEAM Excellent certification, an EPC A rating, and incorporating solar energy and smart climate control. The project is expected to create up to 10 new jobs in the UK.
Chief executive Richard Sloan said the investment ensures infrastructure keeps pace with demand, adding it will provide partners with 'greater certainty around stock availability and service performance'.
