Announced on 3 April 2026 in Bangkok, the initiative reflects Indorama Ventures' strategy to strengthen regional partnerships while advancing sustainability goals. The company stated its intention to "lead the path toward textile circularity," highlighting a comprehensive range of recycled polyester fibres and filament yarns derived from both "pre- and post-consumer PET textile waste as well as from PET bottle feedstock."
By leveraging its manufacturing footprint across Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas, Indorama Ventures aims to offer Southeast Asian customers stable regional production alongside access to global research and development capabilities. This integrated model is designed to ensure "reliable supply, traceability, and scalable solutions to meet end consumer needs," while maintaining competitive lead times through regional sourcing hubs.
At booth C9 during the exhibition, visitors will be introduced to a broad spectrum of material innovations. These include deja™ T2T fibres and filament yarns produced from discarded polyester textile waste, as well as deja™ B2T solutions derived from PET bottles. The portfolio further extends to deja™ Care fibres, developed for skin-contact applications using more environmentally responsible chemistry, and preventa™ FR fibres, which support flame-retardant applications across apparel, home textiles and automotive interiors.
In addition to these specialised offerings, the company will showcase a wide range of fibres and yarns for everyday use, including PET staple fibres, POY, DTY, FDY and bicomponent yarns. This breadth underlines Indorama Ventures' positioning as a comprehensive supplier capable of addressing diverse technical and commercial requirements.
Indo Intertex, taking place from 15–18 April at the Jakarta International Expo, will also serve as a platform for direct engagement. Indorama Ventures' regional commercial and technical teams will be present throughout the event to discuss "customer requirements, sustainability roadmaps, and material selection for upcoming textile collections."
Through its first appearance at the exhibition, Indorama Ventures reinforces its role in supporting Southeast Asia's textile industry with a combination of regional supply strength and global innovation expertise.
