Founded in 2024 as part of Spain's Voolcan Grupo, SKLD Studio continues to build its identity through collaborations with international designers such as Valerio Sommella, Eli Gutiérrez, Kay Durán, Miguel López and Adam Johnston. The latest collection reflects a consistent design language, unified through a curated colour palette and artisanal weaving techniques.
A key highlight is Aris, the brand's first venture into storage and kitchen solutions for outdoor environments. Designed by Adam Johnston, the system introduces a modular approach built around aluminium profiles and Dekton® surfaces. Positioned for both residential and contract applications, the collection responds to growing demand for fully integrated outdoor living spaces, where cooking, dining and lounging converge.
This shift towards outdoor kitchens reflects a broader trend in the European interiors sector, where the boundary between indoor and outdoor living continues to blur. As consumers invest more in terraces, gardens and hospitality-style environments, brands are expanding beyond traditional furniture into complete lifestyle solutions.
Alongside Aris, SKLD Studio introduces several new furniture collections. Arata, designed by Valerio Sommella, features soft, rounded forms combined with artisanal weaving, offering a balance between aluminium structures and tactile materials. Ronda, by Kay Durán and Miguel López, emphasises enveloping silhouettes and detailed perimeter weaving, while Koro, by Eli Gutiérrez, expands with new pieces inspired by ceremonial forms and textured finishes.
Across the collection, colour plays a defining role, with tones such as forest green, rust red and smoky greys creating a cohesive visual narrative. The designs prioritise soft volumes and refined proportions, aligning with a broader move towards comfort-driven outdoor environments that mirror interior aesthetics.
For the European furniture and interiors market, SKLD Studio's latest launch highlights two key developments: the continued premiumisation of outdoor furniture and the integration of functional elements such as kitchens and storage into exterior settings. This evolution is particularly relevant for the contract sector, where hotels, resorts and high-end residential projects are seeking cohesive indoor-outdoor experiences.
By combining design authorship with technical innovation, SKLD Studio positions itself within a growing segment that views outdoor spaces not as an extension, but as a fully realised part of the home.
