Sonja Quandt and Wilkens continue their international presence at Salone del Mobile

Following a successful start to the year, Sonja Quandt and Wilkens would like to announce their participation in the Salone del Mobile in Milan this April. After exhibiting at Maison&Objet Paris and Ambiente Frankfurt, the two brands continue their international presence with a joint presentation at one of the world's leading design platforms.

Both fairs at the beginning of the year were marked by a highly positive response. The presentation of existing collections alongside newly developed novelties for 2026 was met with strong interest from international visitors, industry professionals, and long-standing partners. The dialogue across both events once again confirmed the brands' position within the premium segment of contemporary tableware and interior design.

At the Salone del Mobile, Sonja Quandt and Wilkens will present their collections together with their strong partner, Porcelain manufactory Fürstenberg. The collaboration between the companies has evolved over the past few years and is characterized by a shared commitment to craftsmanship, quality, and aesthetic coherence.

This partnership is reflected not only in joint appearances at international fairs but also in the visual language of both brands. Many product presentations and campaigns deliberately combine Sonja Quandt and Wilkens cutlery with Fürstenberg porcelain. The same principle was carried through to recent exhibitions: in Paris, Wilkens cutlery was displayed at the Fürstenberg stand, while Fürstenberg porcelain complemented the table settings at Sonja Quandt. This mutual integration highlights the natural synergy between the brands and their shared understanding of contemporary table culture.

Based in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany, since 1860, Sonja Quandt, a brand of Gebr. Kühn GmbH & Co. KG, stands for exceptional craftsmanship rooted in the tradition of silver and goldsmithing. Each piece in the collection is a handmade object, crafted from certified sterling silver and often combined with materials such as gold, crystal, glass, and fine woods. Designed by Sonja Quandt, the pieces reflect a distinct artistic vision and are created with a focus on durability and lasting value.

The Wilkens collection complements this heritage with a broad spectrum of cutlery designs, ranging from classic patterns such as Alt English and Schwedisch Faden to contemporary designs by internationally recognized designers. Precision in manufacturing and attention to detail remain central to the brand's identity.

The Porcelain manufactory Fürstenberg has been creating exquisite porcelain since 1747, rooted in one of Europe's oldest porcelain traditions. Based in Fürstenberg, Germany, the manufactory combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. The collections are characterized by precise production and a clear design language for tableware and interior use.

With their joint presence in Milan, Sonja Quandt, Wilkens, and Fürstenberg underline their ambition to further strengthen their position within the international design landscape and to present a comprehensive approach to modern table settings.
