Located on Corso Venezia, the new flagship will be introduced through a window installation titled Behind the Windows, designed by Piero Lissoni. The installation transforms the storefront into a visual and narrative experience, offering an early glimpse into the brand's future retail space while reflecting its core design language of transparency, light and materiality.
Rather than a conventional preview, the installation acts as an evolving threshold, inviting visitors to engage with the space through observation and imagination. It sets the tone for the flagship's identity, positioning glass not just as a material, but as a medium for interaction and perception.
At Salone del Mobile.Milano, Glas Italia will present its 2026 collection within its exhibition stand in Hall 22 (stand A08), with styling curated by Cameranesi Pompili. The new range highlights the brand's ongoing exploration of glass as a dynamic and expressive material, in dialogue with space and function.
The collection features contributions from leading international designers including Piero Lissoni, Philippe Starck, Patricia Urquiola and Hlynur Atlason, marking his first collaboration with the brand. Notably, Glas Italia will also introduce a new lighting collection, expanding its product offering beyond furniture and interior elements.
Additional designs further develop the brand's focus on innovation, experimentation and material sensitivity, reinforcing its position within the contemporary design landscape.
Beyond the fairgrounds, Glas Italia will participate in several installations and exhibitions across Milan, including Elle Decor Sensory Landscape at Palazzo Bovara, Insieme at Piscina Cozzi, L'Appartamento by Artemest at Palazzo Donizetti, and Barber Osgerby. Alphabet at the Triennale.
Through both its new retail presence and expanded product portfolio, Glas Italia is strengthening its engagement with Milan as a global design capital while continuing to push the boundaries of glass in interior architecture and design.
