Two furniture retailers have secured long-term leases at J9 Retail Park in Warrington, highlighting sustained demand for established out-of-town retail locations.
Upholstered furniture specialist ScS has signed a 10-year lease for a 10,000 sq ft unit, while HSL Chairs has also committed to a 10-year agreement, occupying a 5,000 sq ft space at the site.

According to Derwent Estates, which manages the park on behalf of the Albert Gubay Charitable Foundation, the deals reflect a broader trend of retailers upgrading to locations with strong footfall and established trading environments.
J9 Retail Park is part of a portfolio of nine retail parks operated by Derwent Estates and is home to major retailers including Dunelm and Home Bargains.
The latest lettings underline the continued importance of physical retail within the furniture and interiors sector, particularly in destination retail parks that offer accessibility, scale and a concentrated customer base.
