Scheduled to take place from 28 September to 1 October, the event is projected to reach close to 120,000 square metres of exhibition space, potentially marking the largest edition in more than twenty years. "This year, Hábitat will make a historic leap in size, quality, and real business generation," Pons stated.
The fair continues to position itself as a key international platform for the habitat sector, building on strong momentum from recent editions. Pons highlighted the industry's resilience and adaptability, noting its ongoing commitment to design, innovation and internationalisation.
A defining feature of the 2026 edition will be its co-location with Textilhogar, Espacio Cocina SICI and the new 360 by Cevisama initiative. This integrated format aims to create a comprehensive ecosystem covering furniture, textiles, kitchens, bathrooms, surfaces and materials. "We are not just adding fairs together, but building a global vision of contemporary habitat," said Pons.
The exhibition will feature more than 1,000 companies, combining a strong Spanish base with a growing international presence. The offering will span furniture, décor, lighting, textiles and contract solutions, reinforcing the fair's role as a complete showcase for the sector.
Internationalisation remains a central pillar. The organisers are targeting key markets across Europe, Latin America and North America, supported by an extensive Buyers' Plan. With an investment exceeding €1 million, the programme aims to attract more than 3,000 high-level professional buyers, including distributors, specifiers and contract managers, ensuring tangible business outcomes for exhibitors.
Visitor profiles are expected to reflect the full value chain of the industry, with architects and interior designers accounting for 38%, retail professionals 26%, contract sector representatives 24%, and purchasing groups 12%.
Beyond the exhibition floor, Hábitat will once again emphasise content and experience. Highlights include a conceptual hotel installation showcasing contract design applications, the Ágora nude programme of conferences and debates, and the nude salon dedicated to emerging designers.
For Pons, the fair's continued evolution reflects its relevance to the industry: "Hábitat has known how to reinvent itself, grow, and adapt to market changes. Today, it is a key platform for visibility, internationalisation, and direct contact with clients."
With its expanded scope and strategic positioning, Feria Hábitat València 2026 aims to reinforce its status as one of Europe's leading design and habitat events.
