The decree, dated 18 March 2026 and published on 28 March, incorporates multiple territorial agreements concluded between November 2025 and January 2026. These agreements cover regions including Île-de-France, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Normandy, Pays de la Loire and Occitanie, among others.

As a result, the wage provisions set out in these regional accords are now legally binding for all employers and employees operating under the national collective agreement for architecture (IDCC 2332).

The move ensures greater consistency in salary standards across the sector, aligning regional frameworks under a unified national scope. It also reflects ongoing efforts to standardise employment conditions within architecture and related design professions.

For the architecture and interiors sector, the extension signals a broader regulatory shift towards harmonised labour structures, potentially influencing staffing costs, project pricing and talent retention across firms operating in multiple regions.
