JYSK expands B2B footprint as contract furniture demand grows in Ukraine

Danish retailer JYSK is strengthening its position in Ukraine's furniture and interiors market, with business-to-business (B2B) sales reaching up to 8% of total turnover in 2025 following the launch of its B2B channel in 2023.

The growth reflects rising demand from sectors such as hospitality, real estate, offices and rental developments, where fast, practical furnishing solutions are essential. Clients include hotels, restaurants, developers and charitable organisations, highlighting the role of furniture in both commercial and recovery-driven projects.

Product demand in the B2B segment is focused on functional, adaptable items, particularly stackable chairs and office seating. Seasonal trends also remain important, with garden furniture driving activity during the spring and summer months.

Regional dynamics are shaping growth, with western Ukraine emerging as a key market due to ongoing tourism and construction activity. At a newly opened store near Bukovel, B2B sales have already reached 17%, well above the national average.

Overall, B2B currently accounts for 5–8% of JYSK's sales in Ukraine, with further growth expected. The expansion underscores the increasing importance of contract furniture within the interiors sector, particularly in markets experiencing redevelopment and shifting commercial needs.
