JEE-O has introduced the IZI, a plug & play portable outdoor shower designed by Ruben van Megen, marking a new direction in premium outdoor design. The product will be presented during Milan Design Week (21–26 April 2026) at the exhibition Masterly – The Dutch in Milano.

With over twenty years of expertise in freestanding outdoor showers, JEE-O positions the IZI as a response to the limitations of traditional outdoor installations. Combining mobility with high-end design, the shower connects directly to a garden hose, offering immediate usability without fixed installation.
Described as "the new standard in outdoor design," the IZI merges practicality with sculptural aesthetics. The design stems from a collaboration between van Megen and JEE-O founder Lammert Moerman, initiated during a previous edition of ICFF in New York.

Van Megen's work is rooted in material experimentation, particularly with sand. "Sand has something temporary about it," he said. "It shifts, disappears, constantly changes. In my work, I try to transform that fleeting quality into something permanent. With IZI, that material gains a new context: an object that lives and is used outdoors."
This concept is translated into the product through the use of sand composite, combined with stainless steel and a defined sculptural form. The result is a durable outdoor object that balances tactile qualities with functional performance.
For JEE-O, the collaboration reflects its long-standing focus on design-led innovation. "Design and collaboration with designers are at the core of JEE-O," said founder Lammert Moerman. "Drawing on more than twenty years of expertise in outdoor showers, we were able to translate Ruben's material concept into a product that is both practical and unique. With IZI, we combine the convenience of plug & play with the signature quality and design of JEE-O."
Designed for gardens, terraces, rooftops and beach environments, the IZI targets consumers who view outdoor living as an extension of lifestyle. Its portable nature introduces a new level of flexibility within the premium segment.
The product is available in multiple finishes, including brushed stainless steel, sand-coloured tones and a range of contemporary colours. IZI will be distributed via JEE-O's network and selected design retailers.
With this launch, JEE-O continues to expand its portfolio, reinforcing its position at the intersection of design, functionality and outdoor living innovation.
