Maison&Objet unveils new identity and vision for global design

Maison&Objet is entering a new phase, presenting a refreshed identity and a renewed perspective on the design landscape. The Paris-based event, long recognised as a hub for interior and lifestyle trends, is evolving into a dynamic ecosystem that reflects shifts in the industry.

From 10 to 14 September 2026, Maison&Objet Pulse will showcase a world of design in motion, characterised by bold, emotional, and sustainable approaches. The January edition, Maison&Objet Premier (14 to 18 January 2027), will highlight high-end design, where craftsmanship, distinctive signatures, and excellence converge. "True to its DNA, Maison&Objet connects, supports, and reveals the ideas shaping tomorrow's art of living," the organisers stated.

As part of its transformation, Maison&Objet has introduced a unique typographic identity, entirely hand-drawn to function as a language of expression. The bespoke alphabet, designed by graphic designer and typographer Edouard Bérard, celebrates gesture, precision, and craftsmanship, offering a counterpoint to automated typefaces. "A designer's work that celebrates gesture, precision, and craftsmanship standing in contrast to automated type," the publication noted.

The two editions of Maison&Objet now offer complementary visions: Pulse embodies a forward-looking, dynamic approach to design, while Premier provides a platform for high-end, curated experiences. Together, they illustrate the fair's ambition to mirror the evolving demands of the design community and to act as a global barometer of interior trends.

With these changes, Maison&Objet positions itself not merely as a trade show but as a broader ecosystem for creativity and innovation. Visitors can expect immersive experiences, connections with designers and brands, and insights into emerging trends shaping European and global interiors.

The event's updated identity, both visual and conceptual, is designed to resonate with designers, architects, and industry professionals, reinforcing the platform's role in fostering dialogue and highlighting the evolving art of living.

Maison&Objet Pulse will run from 10–14 September 2026, and Maison&Objet Premier from 14–18 January 2027. Further information can be found at Maison&Objet Paris.
