Following its debut at Art Basel Miami Beach, the initiative marks the second chapter of a three-year collaboration aimed at embedding the Salone within influential cultural and commercial contexts where art, design and investment intersect. With its second Collectors Lounge, the Salone further consolidates its presence in environments that shape contemporary design narratives and global market dynamics.
Positioned in Hong Kong, one of the world's most dynamic hubs for art and collecting—the project targets a highly discerning international audience. The initiative is designed to strengthen connections between Italian design excellence and key decision-makers, collectors and cultural stakeholders operating within the evolving geography of the global market.
The Collectors Lounge has been developed in collaboration with Lissoni & Partners and showcases a curated selection of leading Italian brands spanning furniture, lighting and materials innovation. Participating companies include Arper, Artemide, B&B Italia, Bontempi, De Castelli, Ethimo, Fiam Italia, Flos, Gallotti&Radice, Glas Italia, Golran, Gufram, Kartell, Mattiazzi, Memphis, Meridiani, Molteni&C, Natuzzi, Oluce, Pedrali, Porro, Villari and Visionnaire.
Through this platform, Salone del Mobile.Milano aims to highlight the strategic value of Italian design within a broader cultural and economic framework. By entering spaces where relationships are built and decisions are influenced, the Salone continues to expand its role beyond a trade fair, positioning itself as a key actor in shaping the future of design on a global scale.
The Hong Kong presentation reflects a wider ambition to engage with new audiences and reinforce Italy's design leadership within international markets. It also underscores the increasing convergence between art and design, as well as the importance of curated environments in communicating brand identity and cultural value.
With this ongoing collaboration, Salone del Mobile.Milano continues to map out new territories for design, aligning itself with platforms that define the direction of contemporary collecting and creative exchange.
