Krzysztof of Eurocommerce explains why fulfillment directly drives revenue

'Logistics is no longer a back-office function'

E-commerce growth for furniture and interior brands is increasingly tied to fast, reliable delivery. In many cases, customers expect not just speed but a seamless experience from order to arrival. 'Logistics is no longer a back-office function,' says Krzysztof Modrzejewski, XXL Logistics Director at EUROCOMMERCE. 'It directly affects revenue and customer loyalty.'

Based in Zielona Góra, Poland, EUROCOMMERCE is part of ECE Logistics, a company with roots in the market since 2006 and operating under the EUROCOMMERCE brand since 2017. The company manages online store fulfillment and pan-European shipping, handling both standard and oversized items. 'Our warehouses in Zielona Góra, Słubice, and Wrocław allow us to deliver within 24 hours to Poland, Germany, and the Czech Republic, and within 48–72 hours across the broader EU,' Krzysztof explains. 'We minimize transshipment points to reduce the risk of damage, keeping goods in Polish warehouses until they reach the customer.'

Security, care, and technology are key. 'All our warehouses are heated, monitored, insured, and protected 24/7,' he adds. 'We combine a strong transport backbone with a dedicated e-commerce fulfillment arm, which gives our clients peace of mind when shipping high-value or bulky items.'

Supporting brands across borders
Expanding into new markets is a challenge for many furniture and home décor brands. 'Products are often heavy, bulky, and fragile, which standard parcel networks just aren't built to handle,' Krzysztof notes. EUROCOMMERCE fills that gap, offering specialized logistics across Germany, France, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.

The company takes care of everything from route planning to customs and customer communication. 'We provide customer service in five languages, Polish, English, German, French, and Belgian, so brands don't have to worry about operational or reputational issues abroad,' he says. 'This means a company can offer premium, white-glove delivery from day one without building infrastructure locally.'

The collaboration model is designed to reduce complexity. 'We handle fulfillment, transport, and returns management, giving our B2B clients a seamless solution while they focus on sales and marketing,' Krzysztof adds.

Technology that keeps deliveries on track
Integrated systems are at the heart of EUROCOMMERCE operations. 'We implemented a WMS system covering picking control, incoming and outgoing deliveries, returns management, and real-time inventory control,' Krzysztof explains. 'The system integrates with a client's online store, automating order processing and reducing errors to near zero.'

For large-format items, technology is even more crucial. 'A damaged sofa or missed delivery window isn't just an inconvenience, it's a costly claim and unhappy customers,' he says. 'For XXL shipments, automated processes, multiple quality checks, and photographic proof of delivery give clients full transparency and peace of mind.'

Real-time tracking and precise control help brands maintain trust with end customers. 'Our system allows retailers to monitor every stage of the delivery process, from warehouse to doorstep,' Krzysztof adds.

Trends shaping furniture logistics
Speed, returns, and cross-border capability are now non-negotiable for furniture and interior brands. 'Customers don't like to wait, and they expect hassle-free returns,' Krzysztof says. EUROCOMMERCE addresses all these trends, using its own international courier service and a fleet designed for non-standard shipments.

'Partnering with us gives brands a strong foundation for growth across Europe without building their own logistics network,' he explains. 'With established transport experience, modern technology, and flexible cost models, companies can confidently expand into new markets while delivering a premium experience to their customers.'
