HEAD – Genève will present a thought-provoking exhibition during Milano Design Week 2026, titled "No One Sees Them Like We Do. Notes on Animal Interiors", hosted at Alcova Milano.

Developed by students from the MAIA – Master of Arts in Interior Architecture, the exhibition examines the evolving relationship between humans and companion animals through a series of spatial narratives. Rather than treating animals as symbols, the project positions them as active presences within domestic environments, challenging traditional human-centred design perspectives.
Led by architect and professor Youri Kravtchenko, alongside assistants David Valadomiu Ceballos and Marie Schild, the exhibition takes a non-interventionist approach, focusing on everyday interactions, care practices and the often-overlooked infrastructures that shape cohabitation.
The installation unfolds as a constellation of micro-architectures, objects and spatial fragments, each inspired by a different animal and structured around speculative fables. These narratives explore the blurred boundaries between human, animal and environment, questioning established hierarchies within shared living spaces.
On view from 20 to 26 April 2026 at the Baggio Military Hospital Complex, Alcova Milano, the exhibition contributes to broader conversations around inclusive design, coexistence and alternative ways of inhabiting space.
