The Covent Garden-based company joins a diverse shortlist of 149 businesses, ranging from global corporations to high-growth SMEs and family-run firms. Winners will be announced at a ceremony on 30 April 2026 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, with actor and humanitarian George Clooney set to appear as a special guest.

Recognition across key business pillars
More than 400 companies entered this year's awards, with shortlisted businesses assessed across five core criteria: business performance, innovation, workforce and culture, customer impact, and contribution to society.

Those selected will also be included in the inaugural British Business Leaders List, recognising organisations shaping the UK's economic future.

The shortlist features major names such as AstraZeneca, Moderna, Nando's, Warburtons and Holland & Barrett, alongside a strong representation of emerging and mid-sized businesses.

Growth and international expansion
For Luxus Home and Garden, the nomination reflects a period of expansion, as the company continues to grow both domestically and internationally, with increasing activity in markets including Australia and the United States.

Matthew Lock, director of Luxus Home and Garden, said the recognition highlights the company's focus on sustainable luxury furniture:
"It's an honour to be shortlisted… Our team works tirelessly to be the leading provider of sustainable luxury teak furniture and the nomination is recognition of their hard work and dedication."

Industry recognition and wider impact
The awards, chaired by former Unilever CEO Alan Jope and Coutts CEO Emma Crystal, aim to spotlight businesses driving innovation and economic growth across the UK.

Alongside celebrating business excellence, the event will also raise funds for homelessness charity Social Bite, with a target of exceeding £1 million.

With strong competition across all categories, the shortlist underlines the growing influence of design-led, sustainability-focused SMEs within the broader UK business landscape.
