Rather than focusing solely on furniture, NovaBell emphasises how floors and wall coverings shape atmosphere, identity and everyday experience, positioning porcelain stoneware as a key architectural element in contemporary interiors.
A material for the whole home
Porcelain stoneware continues to gain traction as a versatile solution, combining durability, hygiene and low maintenance with the ability to replicate a wide range of aesthetics. NovaBell's collections span formats from small tiles to large slabs up to 162x324 cm, enabling seamless applications across spaces, from kitchens and bathrooms to living and dining areas.
This flexibility supports a growing demand for visual continuity throughout interiors, where materials flow effortlessly between rooms.
Dining and living as design focal points
The brand's first feature focuses on dining and living areas, spaces increasingly defined by comfort, sociability and multifunctional use. Here, surfaces play a central role in setting tone and cohesion.
Large-format slabs from NovaBell's Oversize range can also be used as tabletops, extending the use of ceramic surfaces beyond floors and walls and reinforcing a unified design language.
Collections such as Dusk, with its textured, engraved-like finishes, and Noor, offering a natural interpretation of wood, illustrate how materiality and tactility contribute to the sensory experience of a space.
Installation at Milano Design Week
NovaBell will further explore the expressive potential of ceramics during Milano Design Week (21–26 April 2026) with the installation "Rare Heart", designed by Danilo Ramazzotti and presented at Palazzo Litta as part of MoscaPartners Variations.
The installation features the new Guja collection, applied to three sculptural dolmens representing the elements of air, water and fire. Drawing inspiration from the geology of Monte Rosa, the project highlights the layered textures and mineral qualities of ceramic surfaces.
A broader design perspective
With this latest concept, NovaBell reinforces a wider industry shift: interiors are increasingly conceived from the surface up, where materials are not just a backdrop but an active component of design.
By combining technical performance with aesthetic versatility, porcelain stoneware is evolving into a holistic solution for contemporary living, capable of shaping both the look and functionality of modern homes.
