Danish design brand 101 Copenhagen has introduced a refined material update to some of its most recognisable pieces, reinterpreting the Trumpet Table, Arc Console and Oka Tray in silver travertine.

The collection explores the quiet strength and layered texture of the natural stone, whose soft grey and earthy tones bring a sense of depth and balance, bridging ancient material traditions with contemporary design language.
At the centre of the update is the Trumpet Table, a sculptural piece defined by its architectural base in hand-painted fibre concrete, now paired with a disc of silver travertine. The result is a tactile composition that emphasises material contrast while maintaining a grounded, monolithic presence.
The Arc Console continues this dialogue between past and present. Inspired by Art Deco architecture, its stepped and arched form is softened by the natural stone surface, creating a play of light and shadow that enhances its minimalist yet expressive character. The console is available both with and without the travertine top, offering flexibility across interior settings.
Meanwhile, the Oka Tray introduces a more intimate scale to the collection. Drawing inspiration from traditional Japanese serving trays, the piece translates ritualistic forms into a sculptural object, where the textured stone surface adds a serene, almost meditative quality.
Founded in 2017, 101 Copenhagen has built its identity on a fusion of Scandinavian design principles and Japanese craftsmanship influences, with a strong focus on materiality, texture and timeless form. The introduction of silver travertine reinforces this approach, highlighting the brand's ongoing exploration of natural materials and their ability to shape atmosphere within a space.
