Nobia AB has announced that its Nomination Committee is proposing Jimmy Renström as the new Chairman of the Board ahead of the company's 2026 Annual General Meeting.
Renström, who currently serves as a Board Member, would succeed outgoing Chairman Tony Buffin, who is stepping down following Nobia's exit from the UK market. Board member Carsten Rasmussen will also not stand for re-election.

Board changes and continuity
In addition to Renström's proposed appointment, the Nomination Committee has recommended the re-election of Marlene Forsell, Fredrik Ahlin, Catarina Fagerholm and Andréas Elgaard as Board Members. Katarina Lindström is proposed as a new addition to the Board.
Peter Hofvenstam, Chairman of the Nomination Committee, commented: "We are pleased that Jimmy Renström has accepted the role as new Chairman of the Board and to welcome Katarina Lindström as a Board Member," while also thanking the outgoing members for their contributions.
Strong financial and international experience
Renström is currently CFO at Nordstjernan and brings extensive international leadership experience. He previously held multiple CFO roles at Scania across Asia and served as Managing Director of Scania China, alongside earlier experience in startups and management consulting.
Katarina Lindström adds further operational expertise, with senior roles at companies including Volvo AB, Munters AB and Hempel A/S.
Strategic transition
The proposed leadership changes come at a time of strategic transition for Nobia, following its decision to exit the UK market and refocus its operations.
Nobia, which operates a portfolio of kitchen brands including HTH, Norema, Sigdal, Invita, Marbodal and Novart, employs around 2,000 people and generates annual sales of approximately SEK 5.6 billion. The company is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm under the ticker NOBI.
The final decision on the board appointments will be made at the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
