General furniture searches performed consistently, with eight days reaching peak index levels and the highest activity recorded on 15 February. Retail-related queries also surged, with "Furniture Village" searches rising sharply alongside location-specific searches for its stores.
Outdoor-related terms stood out, with "patio furniture" up 150%, "garden furniture sets" increasing by 100%, and "outdoor garden furniture" rising 80%. The data suggests consumers are preparing early for seasonal outdoor living, reinforcing a continued shift towards garden-focused spending.
Other categories also showed strong engagement. Mattress searches peaked multiple times, driven by promotional interest, while bedroom, dining and living room furniture all recorded notable spikes. Sofa-related searches highlighted growing interest in multifunctional and outdoor options, including sofa beds and outdoor seating.
Flooring and carpets also maintained momentum, with practical queries such as stain removal and product comparisons gaining traction.
The data highlights evolving consumer priorities and offers retailers insight into demand patterns, particularly the growing importance of outdoor living categories.
